As medical components get smaller and more specialised, Waterjet Micro Cutting becomes the best solution

FlowCut Waterjet Cutting specialises in Microjet Cutting ﹘ Waterjet Cutting at the micro level.

Stainless steel: durable and non-corrosive

Almost every type of material can be cut through our waterjet cutting method. Lots of cutting possibilities are available for use with stainless steel. This type of steel is an alloy, often composed of:

  • Chrome
  • Iron
  • Carbon
  • Nickel

Steel is named ‘Stainless Steel’ when it’s alloy is composed of at least 11-12% chrome, and contains a maximum of 1.2% carbon. This material is suitable to be cut in tiny parts, as well as the largest possible components . It is sustainable, durable and non-corrosive.

Titanium

Titanium is a metal, well known for its non-corrosive nature. It is lightweight, but also very strong. The metal can withstand the most extreme changes of temperature.

Titanium alloys are therefore often applied in the aerospace and aviation industry, for the construction of rockets and planes.
